A fictional rebrand for Brookside Gardens' Cultivate magazine. "Published twice a year, Cultivate magazine features articles about current happenings in the Gardens, descriptions of upcoming programs for adults and children, schedules for art exhibits, plant society shows and sales, profiles of our donors and volunteers, and more." I collected most photos for the project from the Brookside Gardens official Facebook page.
While considering what to highlight in the magazine, I decided that showcasing the photos taken of the gardens was going to be important to the layout. Because of this, I planned for some images to reach across spreads or bleed off the page. Using a 3-column layout seemed most suited for this, given the varying dimensions of the imagery I had collected.
